This course is open to nurses, medical assistants, dental assistants, EMTs, teachers, daycare workers, coaches, parents, and any individual whose employer or licensing board requires a current BLS Provider certification.
Is this an official AHA certification? +
Yes. LifeLine BLS Training is an AHA Authorized Training Center. Upon successful completion of the course and skills evaluation, you are issued an official American Heart Association BLS Provider Card — valid and recognized by employers and healthcare institutions nationwide.
How long is the course? +
The course is typically 2.5–3 hours. It includes classroom instruction, hands-on skill stations, and a skills evaluation. Plan for the full evening beginning at 6:00 PM.
How long is the certification valid? +
Your AHA BLS Provider Card is valid for 2 years from the date of issuance. We also offer renewal/recertification classes.
When is my certification card issued? +
Your physical AHA BLS Provider Card is issued the same evening, upon passing the skills evaluation. You leave class fully certified — no waiting for mail delivery.
